Tragedy: Woman Set To Marry Her Own Son

Betty stunned a village court last week when she said the affair with her son had begun three years earlier. She said after spending a lot of money sending Farai to school following the death of her husband, she felt she had a right to his money and no other woman was entitled to it. “Look, I strove alone to send my son to school and no one helped me. Now you see that my son is working and you accuse me of doing something wrong.

“Let me enjoy the products of my sweat,” she told the village court council. Farai said he was more than prepared to marry his mother and would pay off the ilobola balance his father had left unpaid to his grandparents.

“I know my father died before he finished paying the bride price and I am prepared to pay it off,” he said. “It is better to publicise what is happening because people should know that I am the one who made my mother pregnant.

Otherwise they will accuse her of promiscuity.” But local headman Nathan Muputirwa says: “We cannot allow this to happen in our village, mashura chaiwo aya, (This is a bad omen indeed). In the past they would have to be killed but today we cannot do it because we are afraid of the police.”

He warned them to immediately break off their marriage or leave his village. They chose the latter and have since left the village for an undisclosed destination.

BUSTED - Cheating Woman Busted Inside Hostel Room In Lagos State

 A woman was caught today red handed by her husband and friend sneaking up to meet her lover who was way younger than her. Funny enough the so called lover was still a student of a tertiary institution in his 2nd year and he has got nothing to offer. According to hostel mates they had thought her to be his mother or relative as she was always coming with food stuffs and other things for him, and that on some occasions she stays over till the next day.

Wife's Lover Baths Husband To Death With Acid

Occupants of No. 10 Erolo Street Ijegun Egba, A Shanty community in satellite town, Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State, were recently in a state of confusion when tow cousins, Edwin Ifoghale Eroveno (39) and Maxwell Enakeno Uhwe engaged selves with bitter trade of words, which eventually saw the former (Eroveno) being bathed with raw acid to death. Eroveno, who had left home with his Danfo bus on the fateful day morning, met his untimely death at about 9.07pm, on entering the compound.
The suspect, Ugwe, is a second paternal cousin to the deceased (Eroveno), and a 300 level accounting student of University of Benin (UNIBEN)
Trouble started when the deceased married precious Uyoyou Unwe, a former girlfriend of Ugwe (suspect) under duress from her father in the village Iyede Ame in Ndokwa East Local Govt. Area of Delta State, where they all hail from.
The Late Eroveno, who until his death was a staff of Flour Mill Plc., did his traditional , Church and court marriage with the said Precious.
Before the marriage, Precious was dating the suspecting both of them had taken blood oath, promising only death could do them apart.
We gathered that despite Precious wedding with Eroveno, she had always seen him as a stranger to her and had been resisting his attempts to sleep with her.
Precious vowed to stab herself to death the day Eroveno would sleep with her because according to her Eroveno is a stranger.” Eroveno also let Precious go proved abortive, as precious eventually took in for him and gave birth to a baby boy, Misheal,
Adding that Uwge (suspect) Vowed as well not to let Precious go even in the face of having put to bed for Eroveno.
Adding that Uwge had been looking around the compound until the fateful day he succeeded in bathing the deceased with the raw Acid.
Mrs Veronica Oneke, A Co-tenant of Eroveno narrated how they (neighbours) rushed him to the near-by Naval Hospital before they were later referred to Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) Idi-Araba, were he eventually kick the bucket the following day.
The suspect is on the run for fear of being arrested by the police; while the wife, almighty Precious, has been arrested by the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Panti, and released as at press time.

Little Girl Battered By Father’s Lover In Benin (PICTURED)

A little girl identified as Blessing Osayande who is a primary 2 pupil of South Royal School in Benin city had been allegedly battered by a woman believed to be her father’s lover.

She was seen in school on Thursday, October 23, 2014, with a broken head which she claimed was inflicted on her by her father’s girlfriend who hit her head against a table.

The school authorities of South Royal School disclosed that Osayande had been suffering serious abuse from her acclaimed father’s lover and out of concern, they have called the father on several occasions to caution his girlfriend but it all seems futile.

The welfare office in Benin has since taken up the case but they still wanted the public to be aware. They didn’t give the lover’s name or photo.

Man Arrested For Defiling His 3 Daughters

The Nasarawa State Police Command yesterday paraded one Ikechukwu Desmond Okonkwo who has been defiling his three daughters.

This revelation was made known to the police by his wife, Mrs Comfort Okonkwo of Ezeagwu Old Village, Ezia LGA of Enugu State. The victims corroborated her stories.

Also arrested on suspicion of rape were eight other suspects while five armed robbery suspects were equally paraded. The police recovered one Ak 49 rifle and eight locally made pistols.

Similarly, the police also arrested one Zakka Haruna, Friday Samuel and Kuje Anzaku, all of Panduro village in Kokona local government for allegedly drugging one 15-year-old girl (name withheld) and having carnal knowledge of her.

The police said, “on September 26, 2014 at about 22hrs, a distress call was received from Onda Wayo village area of Nasarawa LGA, that armed robbers were robbing people but that one among the armed robbers, Usman Ibrahim, a 23-year-old Fulani of the same address was arrested by the police patrol and the following exhibits were recovered in his possession, one locally made single barrel gun, one cutlass and face mask. The case has already been charged to court for prosecution”.

“On 26/9/2014, at about 16:00hrs, one Jummai Josiah ‘f’ of Angwan Police Masaka reported that on the same date, at about 10:00hrs, one Shakara Garba ‘m’ of the same address forcefully had carnal knowledge of her daughter, one Alheri David ‘f’ aged 13yrs old inside her bedroom and injured her on her private part. Thecase has already been charged to court for prosecution”
